भारतीय टीम ने 1928 के बाद से 2004 तक सभी ओलम्पिक में हिस्सा लिया था लेकिन 2008 के बीजिंग ओलम्पिक में वह हिस्सा नहीं ले सकी क्योंकि उसी साल चिली में आयोजित क्वालीफाईंग टूर्नामेंट के फाइनल में उसे इंग्लैंड के हाथों 0-2 से हार मिली थी।

इस तरह 80 साल में पहली बार भारतीय हॉकी टीम ओलम्पिक में शामिल नहीं हो सकी। भारत के पास जहां 2008 की नाकामी को धोकर फिर से नई शुरूआत करने का वक्त था वहीं फ्रांसीसी टीम भी 1972 के बाद से पहली बार ओलम्पिक में हिस्सा लेकर एक इतिहास कायम करना चाहती थी।

इस टीम ने अंतिम बार 1972 के म्यूनिख ओलम्पिक में हिस्सा लिया था और इसके लिए वह भारत को कड़ी से कड़ी टक्कर देना चाहती थी।इस जंग में लेकिन जीत भारत की हुई। इसमें टूर्नामेंट में सबसे अधिक गोल करने वाले संदीप की महती भूमिका रही।

    संसदीय समिति आयकर छूट सीमा १.८० लाख से बढ़ाकर 3 लाख रु. और निवेश पर कर छूट सीमा १.२० लाख से बढ़ाकर ढाई लाख रु. करने वाली है। डीटीसी की समीक्षा कर रही इस समिति के सभी सदस्यों में इस आशय की सहमति बन चुकी है। ऐसा हुआ तो जनता के हर साल 52 हजार रुपये तक बच सकते हैं।

डीटीसी में टैक्स छूट सीमा २ लाख है 
यह समिति प्रस्तावित डीटीसी के प्रावधानों की पड़ताल कर रही है। डीटीसी में आयकर छूट सीमा बढ़ाकर 2 लाख रुपए करने का प्रावधान है। कर स्लैब में संशोधन का भी प्रस्ताव है।

Ways To Prevent SIM Card Misuse

Yesterday when I went to a BSNL Regional Office for replacement of a defective SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) I came across an incident where a Customer is complaining to block his SIM as a thief who has stolen his 20 thousand Rupees phone left away his phone and took away only the SIM with him.

Now the customer is worried what the misshapen might happen. Though the complaint has been taken and recorded I asked the CC if really the SIM will be blocked?

The answer is “They get hundreds of SIM lost cases daily and if they keep on blocking the SIMs it wastes them a lot of time and resources also some mischief people might falsely complain and try to block other people numbers incase if they know their details. So, we don’t usually”.

Imagine what will be the condition of the customer who lost his SIM, phone or both and the same SIM is found to be used in a Bomb blast, harassing a girl/boy or any illegal act? Who would the police suspect or responsible for this?
