भारत की ज्योति दुनिया की सबसे नाटी महिला

केवल 62.8 सेंटीमीटर यानी करीब दो फुट एक इंच लंबी भारतीय युवती शुक्रवार को दुनिया की सबसे नाटी जीवित महिला घोषित की गईं। भारतीय युवती ने अमेरिका की ब्रिजेट जॉर्डन का इस साल की शुरुआत में बना रेकॉर्ड तोड़ा। आज 18 साल की हुई ज्योति आमगे को गिनेज वर्ल्ड रेकॉर्ड्स ने आधिकारिक रूप से दुनिया की सबसे नाटी जीवित महिला घोषित किया। इससे दो साल पहले उन्हें 16 साल की सबसे कम लंबाई की बच्ची बताया गया था। ज्योति ने मुंबई से 830 किमी दूर स्थित हिवरी नगर में अपने घर पर परिजन और दोस्तों के साथ जन्मदिन मनाया। गिनेज वर्ल्ड रेकॉर्ड्स के आधिकारिक रॉब मोलोय ने अलग-अलग समय पर ज्योति की लंबाई तीन बार नापी। परिवार के सूत्रों ने कहा कि डॉक्टरों ने गिनेस प्रतिनिधि की मौजूदगी में तीन अलग-अलग समय उसकी लंबाई नापी। ज्योति को उसके माता-पिता किशन और रंजना की उपस्थिति में सर्टिफिकेट दिया गया।

नागपुर शहर की लड़की ज्योति अमेगा दुनिया की सबसे छोटी महिला है, उसकी लंबाई ५२.८ सेंटीमीटर है । उसने ''गिनीज बुकÓÓ में दूसरी बार रिकार्ड बनाया है। गिनीज बुक में रिकार्ड दर्ज करने वाले अधिकारी बॉब मोले शहर में आये निर्णायक मंडल की हैसियत से यहां आये और २४ दिन में तीन बार महिला की लंबाई नापी ।
महिला की लंबाई नापने के बाद उन्होंने उसे ''गिनीज बुकÓÓ में दर्ज कर लिया। उन्होंने इस बात की शुक्रवार को घोषणा की। इसके पूर्व वर्ष २००९ में ज्योति ने दुनिया में सबसे छोटी लड़की का खिताब भी ''गिनीज बुकÓÓ में दर्ज कराया था।
ज्योति अब १८ वर्ष की पूरी हो गयी है। बॉब ने घोषणा करते हुए कहा कि सुश्री ज्योति ''दुनिया में जीवित इंसानों में  सबसे छोटीÓÓ है।
आज की तारीख तक अमरीका की ब्रिगेट्टे सबसे छोटी महिला के रूप में थी उनकी लंबाई ६९ सेंटीमीटर है। ज्योति के जीवन पर जापानी निर्माता ने एक वृत्तचित्र बनाया है। ज्योति अब तक जापान, स्पेन और इटली का भ्रमण कर चुकी है।

सचिन और ध्‍यानचंद को मिलेगा भारत रत्‍न?

नई दिल्‍ली. मास्‍टर ब्‍लास्‍टर सचिन तेंडुलकर और हॉकी के जादूगर मेजर ध्‍यानचंद को देश का सर्वोच्‍च नागरिक सम्‍मान भारत रत्‍न मिल सकता है। सरकार ने भारत रत्‍न दिए जाने के नियमों में बदलाव कर दिया है। अब तक खिलाडियों को यह सम्‍मान नहीं मिलता था। लेकिन खेल मंत्रालय और गृह मंत्रालय की सिफारिश के बाद प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय (पीएमओ) ने नियमों में बदलाव का फैसला किया है।

एक अंग्रेजी दैनिक में प्रकाशित खबर के मुताबिक नए नियमों के तहत अब भारत रत्‍न किसी भी क्षेत्र में उत्‍कृष्‍ठ प्रदर्शन/सेवा करने वाले शख्‍स को दिया जा सकता है। इससे पहले सरकार भारत रत्‍न देने के लिए  ‘कला, साहित्‍य, विज्ञान और लोकसेवा’ के क्षेत्र में उत्‍कृष्‍ठ प्रदर्शन करने वाले लोगों के नाम पर ही विचार करती है। ऐसे में खेल सहित कई अन्‍य क्षेत्र में उत्‍कृष्‍ठ प्रदर्शन करने वाले लोगों के नाम छूट जाते थे।

सचिन को 2008 में पद्मविभूषण का सम्‍मान मिल चुका है। इन्‍हें 1994 में अर्जुन अवार्ड, 1997 में विजडन क्रिकेटर ऑफ इ इयर, 1997-98 राजीव गांधी अवार्ड, 2011 में बीसीसीआई क्रिकेटर ऑफ द इयर से भी नवाजा जा चुका है। तेंडुलकर को 2010 में वायुसेना में ग्रुप कैप्‍टन का रैंक दिया गया।

पूर्व हॉकी खिलाड़ी ध्‍यानचंद को 1956 में पद्मभूषण से नवाजा गया था। वह ओलंपिक की गोल्‍ड विजेता भारतीय टीम में शामिल रहे। उनकी कप्‍तानी में भारतीय हॉकी टीम ने 1928, 1932 और 1936 में ओलंपिक में गोल्‍ड मेडल जीता। ध्‍यानचंद ने अंतरराष्‍ट्रीय मैचों में 400 से ज्‍यादा गोल किए।
